Jim's early career experiences were at Bolt Beranek and Newman (Cambridge, MA), a prime developer of ARPAnet and then Internet technology as a contractor for the DoD. Jim managed the ARPAnet/Internet software development and network operation for a number of years. His software group built the first router and one of the first distributed network management systems. He is co-producer of "Mapping the Future of the Adirondacks;" Secretary, High Peaks Education Foundation; Vice Chair Adirondack Health Foundation; and Chair, Keene Community Trust. Other highlights of his career include: Former Partner, Northeast Consulting Resources, Inc. (Boston), Former Senior VP, Nervewire, Inc. (Boston), Retired Partner, Skylight Associates LLP (Boston). He was co-lead of the Keene Broadband Project.
