What drew you to the organization?

Interest in a business investment opportunity in the North Country.

What part of being a member investor do you like the most?

Interaction with the entrepreneurs discussing their businesses and discussions with other members on their views of the companies and ideas on how to analyze them and how to improve them

What type of organizations do you lean toward investing in?

Generally, businesses that add value to retail consumers. I tend to shy away from new hardware technology as they have long lead times to adoption.

What businesses have you participated in, whether mentoring or financial investment?

Where do you see Point Positive in 5 years, 10 years?

I hope it is a thriving group of active investors searching out interesting opportunities and actively engaged in mentoring young businesses and entrepreneurs. It would be nice if we were twice as big and could afford full-time staff on our own.

What is your vision for the Greater Adirondack Region?

Becoming a 'preferred destination' home for lots of young entrepreneurs with robust high-speed internet, young families, dynamic economy.
